Google Docs Reader

A simple google documents browser for blackberries. Right now, the following features are supported:
  • Uploading of new and existing documents
  • Background Downloading
  • Sorting
  • Searching
  • Document Sharing

Release highlights

1.10 - 9/5/10

A few minor tweaks, some minor UI revisions, and some bug fixes.

1.09 - 8/27/10

More bug fixes, and the ability to view document revisions. Big warning though, a heavily used document will have a *lot* of revisions. Just sayin'.

1.08 - 8/20/10

Just fixes a few bugs, particularly with erroneous logins.

1.07 - 8/19/10

This is a fairly big one. :)
  • Logging in is *much* faster. You should notice a huge difference with this.
  • The document window menu is now (somewhat) context aware. You can't download a document or view permissions unless you've got a document highlighted.
  • You can add and delete users to a document, assuming you have the proper permissions.

1.06 - 8/09/10

Signed release; which should help eliminate some issues (hopefully).

1.05 - 8/08/10

Purely a bug fix release. 1.04 - 8/05/10

Changed the login sequence slightly (again), and added searching capabilities.

1.03 - 7/28/10

Changed the login sequence slightly, and also reworked uploads so that the entire document list isn't requeried when a document is added or updated.

1.02 - 7/27/10

Just a quick fix for an issue where uploading an existing document would create a copy of the document, instead of updating the existing copy. You now have the option of updating the existing copy (by default) or creating a new copy.

Next up...
Let me know what you want to see next. On my immediate to-do list are finishing up sorting, searching, and moving downloads/logins to a background thread. Once that's done, uploading and more.

When you report a problem, please send me the following information:
  • What happened.
  • How you made the thing that happened happen.
  • What phone you are using.
  • Your carrier and your data plan. I won't always know what you're using, but it's more helpful than not.
